NOTE: Gestures that dont mention a specific number of fingers are single-finger gestures. ![]() VoiceOver provides a set of standard gestures for navigating and interacting with items on the screen. It doesn't 'shock me,' that a brand new product with first version software is not perfect, nor that I/we may have a bit of a learning curve. If youre using a Multi-Touch trackpad, you can use VoiceOver gestures. _Everything else I've gotten to work_ (secondary click in left/right corners took a while - now I learned that I actually got to push down/click or, at least, doing that makes it work). ![]() I have had the SAME PROBLEM with dragging and drag lock (whatever 'drag lock,' is, I haven't seen explained it doesn't work for me, yet). After years of struggling with ghost clicks, randomly dragged icons, poor palm rejection, and generally ever worsening MacBook trackpads, I didn’t want to deal with software features trying to compensate for a trackpad’s lack of physical features. QUICK FIX: Change the option for the three-finger gesture to dragging it works.Īlthough I wish I could do one-finger dragging and keep the three-finger gesture for Navigation.īut not being able to drag or select text/pics, was a more urgent desire than Navigation, so I changed the option on the three-finger gesture. Even better, you can summon it right from the trackpad with a pretty intuitive gesture: simply drag two fingers from the rightmost side of the trackpad and stop just before the middle of it. ![]()
